Poppie Sköld is a visual artist who specialises in video portraits and observational documentary filmmaking.

By combining her fine art and storytelling training, Poppie creates video work that captures a reality and frames the atmosphere she experienced into focus, and with an inclination towards the socio-political perspective, she endeavours to tell stories of importance.

Poppie was looking for a web design company who could take inspiration from her creative work and personality to create an ethereal looking and feeling website which would faithfully represent the spirit of the artist and her work. The website needed to function effectively in such a way that there would be no clumsy detraction from the immersive video portraits so that we move through the site effortlessly, as quickly or languorously as we like, getting a taste of her works, or watching each film in its entirety. The design of the site needed also to incorporate Poppie’s style of working in both hi def and low fi resolutions, ensuring that nothing jarred with the user, and that the site flowed smoothly through her observational footages.

We wish Poppie every success in her future commissions and own creative work and will continue to stay in contact as her portfolio expands.
